We Have Much To Be Thankful ForDownload and print the complete newsletter here. Everyday we wake up gives us an opportunity to be thankful! During the holiday season we especially embrace the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for! We often take for granted that we live in a blessed country with many wonderful freedoms. Regardless of the circumstances and challenges we face, nothing compares to the GREAT, merciful and awesome GOD we serve. I rejoice and I am grateful that God who loves us so much sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). I am also thankful for relationships like as the one that I have with Jeremiah Castille. I have personally known Jeremiah for over five years. It was God’s divine plan that we meet and through him my life as a husband, father, friend and provider has been greatly impacted. Because of Jeremiah’s mentorship I have a closer relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my beautiful wife April and my two awesome sons, Lacy III and J Alexander. The mission of the foundation is reflected in Jeremiah’s daily walk. He selflessly demonstrated this and invested time to present the gospel to me and help develop me into the man I am today. Growing up in church, I knew all the rituals, but realized that my personal relationship with Christ was lacking and that is not what in Christ is about? We often spend our time, money and resources so selfishly that we miss out on God’s purpose and plan for our lives. God selflessly gave and he wants us to do the same. Life is about other people and each morning when I wake, I am filled with joy because my heart is unselfishly thinking about others; those who are less fortunate and spiritually poor. I am a part of this ministry because Jeremiah took the time to invest in my life. Jeremiah Castille Foundation has been called to open a community center in the Woodlawn area and we need faithful partners that are willing to invest in the lives of the people in Woodlawn. We believe that through God, this service area will be a reality. John 3:16 says “…God so loved the world that he gave… “. God gave us his best. Are you willing to give your best so that a young person will have a brighter future? When you invest, you influence; having influence will impact and the impact you make will inspire so they will rebuild and restore generations. Thank you and may God bless, Lacy McClung Jr. By: Lacy McClung Comment on this article: |
